One aspect that characterizes Bigg Boss 19 is that there is no one, repeat NO ONE who has the guts and brains to take on someone else and argue with them point to point standing ramrod straight and looking eye to eye. Besides Farhana, there is no one left in the show who can even withstand more than a minute of fight before ‘walking out’ (not just Malati), just trying to shut the other person with ‘aur zor se bolo’, ‘sunai nahin de raha hai’, ‘lage raho’ etc. (Gaurav), just petering out with a pacifying tone saying ‘I just meant this, so why are you getting angry’ or the worst was Shahbaz switching to ‘Sorry, Sorry’ (recently with Tanya) on Amal’s insistence!
Bashir and Abhishek were the only other guys who had the guts to give it back to Farhana or anyone targeting or poking them. Pranit killed half the show by sending away Abhishek, and audience shot themselves in the foot by sending away Bashir! Now the rest are so ‘Fattu’ they just melt away when Farhana spits fire .. for example, when Farhana does her usual ‘paintra’ of ‘I will do my duty when I feel like it, not when you tell me to do it (tab karungi jab meri marzi hai, tumhare kehne pe nahin karungi)’ & main naukar nahin hun ki tum mujhe bol aur main karoon etc., not one contestant had the guts to roar back and say ‘What the heck do you mean by ‘jab meri marzi tab karungi .. waise toh everyone will say the same and they will do chopping for lunch at 4 pm and cooking at 5 pm.. yeh tumhara farmhouse nahin hai, yeh Bigg boss ka ghar hai aur yahan democracy ki sarkar se decisions lete hai khud ki marzi se nahin’!..and ‘Baaki sabhi kaam kar rahen hain without complaning when asked, toh woh sab naukar hain? Tum yehan koi special guest nahin ho, ghar ki sadasya ho toh chup chaap time pe apna kaam karo warna main aisi harkaten bardaash karna walon main se nahin hun!’ – WHY couldn’t ANYONE say anything like this? I would have given the trophy to that person right away! Even Pranit bent down during a fight about her duty and then started giving in like a wimp saying ‘arre, don’t get angry na, I had just asked because it was your duty .. it’s ok if you don’t want to do it now..I had just asked’. Gaurav’s misguided strategy is to ignore her and not fight with her as ‘it will give her footage’ or ‘I will look bad stopping to their level’ etc. Bashir was the only one who could come up with logical points to counter her effectively and aggressively .. Abhishek was aggressive but too brainless to come up with precise counter points to negate her statements and hit her where it hurts. Malti was the only other person, besides Bashir, who was stronger and tougher than Farhana and took her head on in most fights. She even kicked Farhana’s legs out of the way (even Farhana didn’t have an answer to that kind od real aggression) and said ‘Shut up’ to her numerous times. The problem is that she could not tolerate Farhana for too long and hence used to ‘walk out’ after the fight got too long for her.
Hence this season will be known as ‘Fattu’ season! We are missing the likes of Vicky and Abhishek, and even Karan/Avinash from previous seasons who did not take shit and gave it back ‘sut samet’!
